Nexwear has acquired Lily Bird, a national brand for women in midlife and beyond, focusing on products for bladder leaks. This acquisition brings together two of the most innovative direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands in the adult incontinence industry. The transaction was facilitated by Westbound Road, LLC, sell-side M&A Advisors retained by Lily Bird to execute a strategic acquisition. “Lily Bird fits very well into our overall shared sense of purpose, securing continued access to high-end innovative incontinence care products. This alliance, combining our strengths, allows us to better serve the needs of our customers and business partners bringing even more product innovation to market, faster,” says Matthew Anderson, Nexwear CEO and founder. Lily Bird has quickly become one of the most trusted direct-to-consumer brands. With an exclusive focus on women, and a high caliber team in place to support its mission, the business maintains deep connections to its diverse and highly engaged customer base. The two product portfolios of Nexwear and Lily Bird are highly complementary and together will offer a more comprehensive range of products and services to better serve the fast-growing customer base. “Our ‘customer first’ cultures are in superb alignment, and our teams complement each other exquisitely, too. We are excited to join the Nexwear family and view this acquisition as a building block to better serve our customers,” says Lily Bird founder Sydney Larson. “We welcome the Lily Bird team. Sydney Larson and Jason Holloway have built a strong sense of community around the brand and we are excited to continue that. Customers can expect to receive the same high-end products with the same exceptional customer service,” says Chad Reynolds, Nexwear director of sales.
